Editorial standard
How FloridaHomepage researches places
See how FloridaHomepage separates primary sources, editorial summaries, changing details, advertising and corrections.
Source hierarchy
We prefer government agencies, park managers, destination organizations and the operators responsible for access. Secondary reporting can add context but does not replace live operating information.
What “editorial profile” means
A profile summarizes a destination and links to a primary planning resource. It does not mean every business, price, closure or condition has been independently inspected.
Changing details
Hours, fees, availability, access, weather and emergency conditions are intentionally not frozen into evergreen copy without a source and review date.
Advertising
Paid placements are labeled “Advertisement.” Payment does not change editorial status or create a ranking.
